Evangelical Community Hospital
Since three physicians took their dream for the area's first
health care facility from a vision to a reality in 1926,
Evangelical Community
Hospital has grown from a 12-bed facility to today's full-service
health care facility with a promising future.
"You feel at home at Evangelical Community Hospital," said a patient and friend of the hospital. "You are treated like a person, not a number, and the staff and physicians genuinely care about you."
The hospital has been able to grow to provide a large and diverse medical staff, to employ a well-qualified work-force, and to offer state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Today, many of the tests and procedures usually only offered at larger metropolitan medical centers, are conveniently offered at Evangelical.
Evangelical Community Hospital is licensed to accommodate 109 overnight patients, 27 residents in the Subacute Care Unit, and 16 newborn babies. With a medical staff of more than 150 physicians, assisted by more than 900 employees, Evangelical is equipped to meet the needs of our growing community.
